This past April, Kohler partnered with Aaron Doering and his team for an Arctic Expedition. As shown in the image provided, The KOHLER portable generator was used to power Aaron Doering and the Changing Earth Projects 170 mile journey across the Arctic wilderness. The Project is an educational team focused on encompassing eight expeditions over the next four years to remote regions of the Arctic and the Tropics with the purpose of sharing their findings as an educational tool to students and educators across the globe.
The group began their expedition by ski and snowshoe hauling their equipment to venture to residents in local communities to discuss social, economic and environmental challenges faced with living in the Arctic region. The Kohler generator was such an essential tool that it allowed his team to share their journey online in real time with students, teachers and the public around the world as a free online learning experience focused on science, technology, geography and culture. The Kohler Generator definitely made a difference worldwide.
